Kirtan/Meditation.
All meditation, kirtan and workshop evenings are held in Govindas Lotus Room on the ground floor underneath Govindas Restaurant.
Govindas is closed for Xmas break from Monday 18 - Wednesday 27 December and for NY eve.
Kirtan is the chanting of spiritually uplifting sacred mantras (transcendental sound vibrations). It is typically accompanied with traditional Indian instruments such as the harmonium, mrdanga (drum) and kartalas (hand cymbals). Kirtan/mantra meditation explained
Kirtan is held in Govindas Lotus Room Thursday & Sunday evening from 7 - 8:15pm. If dining, you can do so before or after the kirtan. The restaurant is open from 5:30pm. Admission to the kirtan is free if dining in the restaurant ($25) and if attending the kirtan without dining, a $10 donation is recommended to help us cover the costs of the evening.
