Wisdom through Vedic Mantras
Every Thursday at Govindas Ashram 6:00pm - 7:15pm
This evening is for seekers of the truth who want to go deeper in their spiritual practise and unlock the ”transcendental secrets” imbedded within Vedic mantras – illumination from within through sacred sound vibrations.
Govindas Ashram is situated close to Govindas at 373 Liverpool Street (Cnr Darlinghurst Road & Liverpool Street)
"In this world there is nothing so sublime and pure as transcendental knowledge. Such knowledge is the mature fruit of all mysticism. And one who has achieved this enjoys the self within himself in due course of time." Bhagavad-Gita, chapter 4, mantra 38.
" This knowledge is the king of education, the most secret of all secrets. It is the purest knowledge, and because it gives direct perception of the self by realization, it is the perfection of spirituality . It is everlasting, and it is joyfully performed." Bhagavad-Gita, chapter 9, mantra 2.
One must elevate oneself by one's own mind, not degrade oneself. The mind is the friend of the conditioned soul, and one's enemy as well. Bhagavad-Gita, chapter 6, mantra 5.
For one who has conquered the mind, the mind is the best of friends; but for one who has failed to do so, one's very mind will be the greatest enemy. Bhagavad-Gita, chapter 6, mantra 5.
