revolutionary whose books have sold over 520 million copies and who has

Argueably the most beautiful & moving spiritual film of all time this 1940's classic deserves a place on everyon'e bucket list of the 10 most important things to do before you die.  V. Damle and S. Fattelal follow up on their 1936 box-office success of Sant Tukaram with this megabudget spiritual drama about 13th century Marathi saint poet Dnyasneshwar, who translated the sacred text, Bhagavad Gita, from Sanskrit into the common vernacular of Marathi. Renowned for his numerous miracles, Dnyasneshwar's (Shahu Modak) good deeds performed for the sick and impoverished are presented in the film on a spectacular scale and narrated in the traditional keena form of storytelling. Using innovative camera work and editing techniques, this film proved to be a major box-office success at the time of it's release.

A 1936 Marathi film based on the life of Tukaram (1608–50), a prominent vaishnava saint and spiritual poet of the Bhakti movement in India.

Sant Tukaram is revered as a great Indian film. It was the first Indian film to receive international recognition. It was adjudged one of the three best films of the world at the Venice Film Festival and was showcased in other international film festivals. It was a runaway success and broke the box office records by being the first Indian film to run in a single theatre for more than a year. It was Prabhat's and Pagnis's most famous film and became the archetype for devotional film.

From 2011 to 2013 Jonathan Taggart (Director) and Phillip Vannini (Producer) spent two years travelling across Canada to find 200 off-gridders and visit them in their homes. They met off-gridders in every single province and territory and through their film they narrated our travels and chronicled in depth the experiences, challenges, inventions, aspirations, and ways of life of people who have chosen to radically re-invent daily life in a dramatically innovative but also quite traditional way.
